How to Check the Driver’s License Record?

There are 3 options for requesting your driver’s license records in Kansas:

The Department of Revenue’s Driver Control Bureau supervises Kansas driving records. The agency offers access to limited driver’s license records, certified and uncertified motor vehicle records.

In Person

Visit the local DMV office and request access to either certified or uncertified motor vehicle records. You should be prepared to wait and spend a long time in line at the DMV office.

The procure is very simple: complete the Request Form provided by the state and submit the document. You can visit the Kansas DMV location website and find your local DMV office.

There is one thing we need to add here. You will have to pay a fee and deliver it together with the form. For instance, the fee for the vehicle registration record is $10. On the other hand, the motor vehicle record is $10 as well. We once again recommend you check the request form and see what fee you will have to pay.

By Mail

For the ones who are busy and want to finish the procedure as quickly as possible, request non-certified or certified motor vehicle records through the mail. Fill out the same request form mentioned above, and mail it to the following address – Kansas Department of Revenue, Driver Control Bureau, P.O. Box 12021, Topeka, KS 66612-2021. Keep in mind that you will also have to make deliver proof of payment together with the request. You can make the payment in form of checks or money.
